This Privacy Policy explains how We Are Earthlings LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Scroll With God, our mobile app, this website, and customer support.

1. Information stored on your device

The app stores saved verses and collections, prayers and reflections you write, reading and prayer activity, reading goals, recent searches, reminder settings, and display and audio preferences locally. If personalization is enabled, your selected topics and activity help shape the feed on your device.

This information can reveal religious interests or beliefs and may include sensitive information you choose to write. It is not a public profile. Scroll With God does not provide its own cloud account or backup for this content. Device operating-system backups, if enabled by you, are governed by your device provider’s settings and policies.

2. Purchases and subscription information

Apple or Google processes app-store payments. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app uses RevenueCat to manage access to paid features. This involves an app user identifier that does not require a Scroll With God login, purchase and transaction information, subscription status, and technical information needed to validate purchases and restore access. An anonymous identifier is still a persistent identifier; it does not mean that no data is processed.

3. Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information, attachments, and correspondence you provide. We use this information to answer questions, investigate problems, handle privacy requests, and keep necessary business records. Please share only what is needed for your request. Support messages are processed by our email service provider.

4. Website and network information

Our website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit, hosting infrastructure processes information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, and request time to deliver and secure the site. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which sends network requests to Google. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.

The website does not currently include advertising pixels, a marketing analytics script, an account form, or a tracking-cookie consent mechanism. Essential infrastructure processing may still occur. Where the app downloads narrated audio or other remote resources, the serving provider receives network information necessary to deliver that resource. Private prayers are not sent for narration.

5. Permissions and your choices

Daily reminders use your device’s notification permission. You can change that permission in system settings or turn reminders off in the app. You can switch to the Explore feed to stop activity-based personalization and reset learned preferences in feed settings. You can export saved content and reset local data through the app’s privacy controls.

Resetting local app data does not cancel a subscription, remove records held by Apple or Google, or automatically delete earlier support emails or purchase records. Contact us for requests relating to information handled by us or our service providers.

6. How information is used and disclosed

We use information to provide the app and website, personalize the local reading experience when selected, manage purchases, respond to support requests, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Service providers process information to perform these functions. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use the content of your private prayers to serve advertisements.

7. Retention and security

Local app content remains on the device until you remove or reset it, subject to your operating system’s storage and backup behavior. Support correspondence and purchase-related records are retained as needed for their stated purpose, security, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and provider requirements.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device protected and export important writing before deleting the app or changing devices.

8. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact support@scrollwithgod.app to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify it and may retain information where the law permits or requires. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We cannot remotely retrieve or delete content stored only on your device. Use the in-app controls for that content. If you live in a jurisdiction that provides a right to complain to a data protection authority, that right is unaffected.

9. International processing

We are based in the United States. Hosting, purchase, and support providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where legally required, applicable transfer safeguards must be used. For users whose law requires a legal basis, processing is based on providing requested services, legitimate interests such as security and support, legal obligations, or consent where required.

10. Children

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support or other direct submissions. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should supervise minors’ use and purchases.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
